Jogini Waterfall
This is one of teh largest waterfalls in Manali. It comes when you are going from Manali mall road towards the Rohtang pass. One needs to stop there vehicle midway and take a trek for about 60-70 mins, before one experiences this beauty in its full glory. Best watched / visible during summer / monsoon months.
Jogini waterfall height from sea level is around 150 ft. Besides the apparent natural beauty of the waterfall, the place is of religious importance too. The temple of the village goddess Jogini Mata is located at the base of the waterfall.
Keylong
Keylong is the land of monasteries, white snowscapes, lush greenery, picturesque landscapes, and breathtaking views. Keylong is the most populated place in Lahaul, and has been an important center of Tibetan Buddhism from ancient times.
It houses many Buddhist Gompas including the famous Kardang Monastery and also a few Hindu temples. The valley is a pitstop for travelers to Ladakh, Pangi Valley and Lahaul.
Solang Valley
Solang Valley is also called the ‘Snow Valley’, which is famous among the tourists for its adventure activities hosted there. Some of the adventure sports like skiing, trekking, mountaineering and also paragliding.
The best time to visit Solang Valley is either between April and June or between December and January.
