Bhoramdev Mandir
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is artificially situated between the mountain ranges, it was built during the period from 7th to 11th century. There is a glimpse of the Khajuraho temple in the temple here, hence this temple is also called “Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh”.
Madwa Mahal
Madwa Mahal is the memorial of the marriage of Nagvanshi Raja and Haihvanshi Rani built of stone, and dated to the 11th century, which is older than the Khajuraho Group of temples is considered an “outstanding structure”. It has profusion of carved images on its exterior walls. Its architectural style is known as the Gurur type, unlike the north Indian Nagara style of architecture.
Chherki Mahal
Local lore dictates that this temple was built by a Naga chief in the 14th century and could possibly be affiliated to Siva. However, one can assume the shrine was built for the shepherd (Cherki) communities of the region by the ruler to consolidate his legitimacy in a region dominated by grazers.
Laxman Jhula
As the legend goes, Lord Lakshmana (Laxman) crossed Ganga on ropes of jute and hence the bridge has been named in his honour. Tourists find it a thrilling experience to cross the lazily swinging bridge that gives a pictorial overview of the surrounding landscape.. This is a very famous and older bridge on river ganga
