Baga Beach

The beach contains rows of shacks and fishing boats, and at high tide the beach is narrow. Being one of the most visited beaches in the North, Baga also offers a vast range of water sports. Baga is named after the ‘Baga creek’ which flows into the Arabian Sea. It is also famous for its designer stores as well as its street-side markets.
Butterfly Beach

A little to the south of Palolem in Cancona region of Goa lies the Butterfly Beach. This beach, also known as Honeymoon Beach, is in the form of a small cove surrounded by dense trees. One of the most secluded and lesser-known beach of Goa, the butterfly beach is mostly accessible by a boat (ferry) ride from the nearby beaches, which only adds to the charm. Butterfly beach is the abode of numerous beautiful butterflies.
Dudhsagar Waterfall

Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India’s tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet). One of the most scenic waterfalls in India, Dudhsagar literally means ‘Sea of Milk’. Though perennial, the beauty of the waterfall increases multi-fold during the rainy season.
Dudhsagar Waterfall is situated inside the Bhagwan Mahavir wildlife sanctuary in the Sanguem district of Goa close to the border with Karnataka.
Chapora Fort

Built by the Portuguese in 1717, Chapora Fort has a long and fascinating history attached to it. More popularly known as the ‘Dil Chahta Hai Fort’, its claim to fame was the 2001 Bollywood blockbuster shot here. A scintillating escape, it offers beautiful views of the sea and Chapora River.
Se Cathedral

Known for its impressive interiors, the mosaic work and the Golden Bell, which is the largest in Goa and one of the largest in the world, Se Cathedral is located in Old Goa. The 17th Century Roman Catholic church is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria and is the cathedral of Archbishop of Goa.
Dona Paula

Located around 7kms from Panjim, Dona Paula is one of the most popular tourist hangouts in Goa famous for its vast stretch of beach. The small beach is also popular as the Lover’s Paradise and features a jetty (Dona Paula Jetty) adjacent to it, which provides an ethereal view of the Arabian Sea and Mormugao harbour.
Shantadurga Temple

There is a main temple and three smaller temples of other deities which have been built on three sides of the temple. The temple consists of a collection of pyramidal roofs with a dome.
The pillars and floors are made of Kashmir stone Situated 33 kms from Panajim, Shree Shantadurga temple has an impressive idol of Goddess Shree Durga who mediated between Shree Vishnu and Shree Shiva and stopped the fiercefull war going on between the two. She is flanked by Vishnu and Shiva on both the sides.
