Araku Valley

Dolphin's Nose
This huge rocky headland is located in the southern part of Vishakapatnam and projects out into the Bay of Bengal. Located at a height of 358 metres above sea level, this naturally-formed rock is shaped like a dolphin’s nose. It is a popular spot for viewing the city’s natural harbour. It also has an impressive 19-metres-high lighthouse, the oldest in the city, whose powerful light beam is visible far out in the sea.

Varah Lakshmi Narasimha Temple
Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple, Simhachalam is situated on the Simhachalam Hill, at a height of 800 metres above the sea level in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu, who is worshipped here as Varaha Narasimha.
Simhachalam temple resembles a fortress from outside with three outer courtyards and five gateways. The architecture is a combination of the architectural styles of the Kalinga, Chalukyas, Kakatiyas, and the Cholas.
